Kooboo hosting is included with your plan. Some services that have variable costs—such as AI usage, email sending, human expert help, and other paid services—use AI & Service Credits. You can top up your account whenever you need them and use them as you go. There is no monthly credit commitment. New users may receive free credits to get started.

You can connect any custom domain you already own for free. We also offer direct domain registration with 2,000+ top-level extensions (such as .com, .nl, and .de) directly within your Kooboo dashboard.

Yes. Kooboo includes built-in mail server functionality, allowing you to create and manage custom domain mailboxes directly from the platform without paying for third-party email hosting. Note that outbound email sending requires credits.

Yes. SSL certificates are automatically generated and renewed via Let's Encrypt for all custom domains connected to hosted Kooboo sites.

Yes. You can manage your subscription directly from your account dashboard. When you upgrade to a plan with different resources, your website and data will be migrated to the new server. The migration may take up to 10 minutes. All of your data will be moved safely to the new server, and you can continue using your websites after the migration is complete. Your previous data remains accessible at the original data center, and you can switch between data centers from your account if needed. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Yes. Kooboo is completely free for personal and non-commercial use. You can self-host Kooboo locally on your own infrastructure or use our managed cloud service. To keep the platform fast and clean, the free cloud tier has some limitations

Free websites include a small “Built with Kooboo” footer as part of the free plan. If your website already contains a link to www.kooboo.com, Kooboo will not automatically add the footer. You are also free to add your own Kooboo link anywhere on your website. Paid plans do not include the Kooboo footer.

Yes, we offer custom development on request for building applications directly inside Kooboo using Server Script. While direct source code export is not provided, you can use our built-in AI assistant—trained on the full codebase—to answer technical questions and guide your development.
