After you finish working on your website, you have multiple ways to share it with other people.
3.3.1. Publish To The Internet (Online Version)
If you created your website on Kooboo online, your website is already live. Go to 'Page' screen and click the preview link, your website will be opened in your browser.
You should already set your website address when you are creating the website. If you don't know the address, just check the address on the top of the browser. You can share this address with anyone and let them go to your website.
You can also browse the website on your phone by scanning the QR code. There is a 'Preview on mobile' button on the right side of the page screen.
3.3.2. Publish To The Internet (Desktop Version Method 1)
If you created your website on the desktop version, there are 2 ways to publish to the website. The first way is to use the publishing feature in Kooboo.
First, create a blank website in your Kooboo online version. Click the 'Create' button under the Create Blank Website tab.
Enter the site name and domain name, click 'Start'.
Go back to your desktop version, on the website that you want to publish, click the ‘Publishing’ on the main navigation menu.
Click create, select custom server, type in the server address. The server address should be in this format: http://the name of the blank website you just create in the online version.your username.kooboo.com
For example, the blank website name is ‘site1’, your username is ‘john’, then the server address is ‘http://site1.john.kooboo.com’.
Click next, select the site and save it.
Now the site should list under the publishing screen. Click the site title.
In the next screen is the detail local changes log, the first time just select all of the changes and click ‘Push’. Later on, if you make any changes, you can select that change and click ‘Push’.
Go back to your online version Kooboo and check the site, all the content should be the same as desktop version now. The rest of process is the same as 3.3.1.
3.3.3. Publish To The Internet (Desktop Version Method 2)
There is another way to publish your website to the internet: export your site file and upload it to Kooboo online.
Click the 'Export' button at the site tab drop-down menu, Kooboo will generate a zip file and let you download it.
Click the Import button on the 'Import Website' tab.
Enter the site name and domain name. Click the 'Select file' button or drag the zip file that you want to import.
Click the 'Start' button to start import the site, the screen will show ‘loading’. Once when it finished, it will redirect to the Administration Screen. The rest of process is the same as 3.3.1.
3.3.4. Share It As A Template To Kooboo Template Library
Kooboo allows you to share your website with Kooboo template library and let other users use it. To do so, go to the 'Site' section by clicking the top toolbar and select 'Site'.
Click the arrow button on the top right side of the site tab and click 'Share'.
On the next screen, just fill out the information and click 'Share'.
3.3.5. Export Your Site File And Share With Other User
Click the 'Export' button at the site tab drop-down menu, Kooboo will generate a zip file and let you download it. You can share this file with anyone and let them import it to their Kooboo.
