The Media library is a library for your multimedia and other files. In the Media library you are able to create folders and upload files. After uploading the files, you can use them within the default HTML editor.
To access the Media library, first click on Database in the left menu. Then you can click on Media library. Next click on one folder, in our case the test folder.
You can create a new folder, upload individual files, upload multiple files, or import zip compressed files.
At the top-right corner, next to the folder name, you can see the icons for the following actions:
- Create a new folder
- Upload a file to the current folder
- Upload multiple files
- Import a zip compressed file.
To delete a file, first select the files you would like to delete. A delete icon will appear automatically on the menu bar to delete that file.
Now upload a file to this folder.
To insert your uploaded files from the Media library into your pages, first go back to the default HTML editor. Then click on the Media content icon to access the Media library. Now you can add your uploaded files into your HTML content.
Link Media file into content
Starting with Kooboo CMS 4.0, you can directly link multiple files from the media library into text content. There is a new control type call "media file." When "media file" is assigned to a content type, the content editing page will contain a file selection control to select files from media library.
Kooboo CMS now provides a basic image editing feature within the media library. Click on an image in the media library, and if it is a supported image, an image editing screen will appear.
